Keith Messick - Principal

Graduating from California Polytechnic University, Pomona, with a Master of Architecture degree, Keith earned the Koeper Award, the Excellence in Environmental Technology Award, and the American Institute of Architects' School Medal and Certificate of Merit.  Keith is a member of Build it Green, a Certified Green Building Professional, and a licensed architect in California.  Keith works periodically with the California Architects Board as a Subject Matter Expert assisting with development and review of the California Supplemental Exam.

Keith also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from California State University, Long Beach and a Bachelor of Science degree from University of California, Los Angeles (Magna cum laude / Phi Beta Kappa).

Keith was immersed in construction at a very young age.  And while he has spent many years working for architecture firms on projects ranging from residential to commercial in scope, it was the years spent building houses with his father that most strongly influenced his decision to specialize in residential design.

Keith's background gives him a perspective that few architects have.  His education and experience enables him to synthesize solutions that are pragmatic and sensitive to financial constraints while still creatively meeting clients' needs.
